We were very sorry to say farewell to one of our loyal members last Sunday at the Scolton Manor apiary meeting.
Rosemary is moving away to Wiltshire, taking with her lots of wonderful memories of her time here in Pembrokeshire with her beekeeping friends. Those of us who regularly attend meetings will be eternally grateful to Rosemary for the wonderful cakes which she baked with such skill, care and generosity! This expertise was borne out by the prizes Rosemary won at the annual Honey Show, quite apart from being a dedicated and accomplished beekeeper!
It seemed only fair therefore that we returned the favour and presented Rosemary with a Skep shaped cake, which we all enjoyed with a nice cuppa! Rosemary will be sorely missed by us all.
Very best wishes from us all Rosemary, come back and see us again soon!!

Rosemary epitomised the attitude and approach of beekeepers and beekeeping within the Association. Friendly, supportive,. enthusiastic and caring, she will indeed be sorely missed and for considerably more than for her lovely cakes alone.
