The National Honey Show is held over 3 days in October at Sandown Park Racecourse. It is the UK’s premier honey show with International Classes, Lectures and Workshops. Bob will give a brief history of this prestigious show as it approaches its centenary, with some tales from behind the scenes.

Bob has been a beekeeper for over 20 years. He has an interest in microscopy and has written a book about simple microscopy for beekeepers. He is a Master Beekeeper and currently Chair of Surrey Beekeepers Association and Chair of BeeCraft Magazine.

Bob has been Chair of the National Honey Show since 2013, although he has worked on the show for most of his time as a beekeeper. He is also a Liveryman of the Worshipful Company of Wax Chandlers (a sponsor of the National Honey Show).
