Sunday July 28th marked a new step forward in the development of the Pembrokeshire Beekeeping Centre when Apiary Manager Paul Eades and volunteer John Dudman extracted the first honey in the Honey Kitchen.
All systems worked as planned and any minor glitches, such as a blown fuse in the uncapping tray, were quickly identified and dealt with.
Over 100 lbs of Association honey were extracted and will be on sale soon in the shop at Scolton Manor and at the County Show in August.
Below are some videos shot on the day (with apologies for quality). There is no audio.
