Our winter monthly webinars are back! This Winter’s webinar series kicks off on Wednesday 11th November at 7.30pm with a familiar face to many, Dr Lynne Hepplestone from South Africa.

Lynne will cover beekeeping in Southern Africa, how it is similar to and different to UK beekeeping. She will also discuss their indigenous bee species and how these differ from what we know in the UK.
Lynne is a veterinarian, musician, SBA Honey Judge, hobbyist beekeeper and mead-maker. She is currently working in Namibia at their School of Veterinary Medicine as a Senior Clinician and Clinical Lecturer in the Small Animal Medicine Dept. This includes, as always, ‘All Things Bees’. The School also teaches bees and beekeeping in its curriculum.
Our webinars are free to SBA members, and only £2 per webinar for non-members. You can always join as a Supporting Member, and you will be given free access to these webinars, and also receive our Scottish Beekeeper magazine regularly.
