First Pictures of the New Apiary at Scolton Manor

Here are the first pictures of the new Pine Tree Apiary at Scolton Manor and Phase 2 of the Pembrokeshire Beekeeping Centre project, funded with a grant from Environment Wales. The middle hive is complete with ‘hive cams’ which are displayed on monitors inside the stable block and also recorded as part of the overall CCTV security system, funded from the Prince’s Countryside Fund, with an apiary camera kindly donated by the security specialists, Powersafe. We hope to be able to post a video link showing the ‘hive cams’ in the near future. Additional hives will be added in due course as the project develops.
