To All PBKA members – Please be advised of the Annual General Meeting of Pembrokeshire Beekeepers’ Association to be held on Thursday, 21st January 2016 @ 7.30 pm in the Green Room at Haverfordwest Cricket Club. The agenda for the above, plus the Minutes of the 2015 AGM will be sent to you in due course, together with a membership application form for 2016.

Just to remind you all that the annual Honey Show is this Saturday 19th September at the Picton Centre, adjacent to County Hall carpark in Haverfordwest.

Entries must be in by 10.00am at the latest with judging to commence at 11.00am.

The doors will be open to the public for the Honey Bee Exhibition, free of charge, from 1.00pm until 4.00pm.

Just to remind PBKA members that the next apiary meeting is on Sunday 20th September for both beginners and improvers at Scolton Manor at 2pm. Note that there is no meeting tomorrow (Sunday 13th September).

Following a spate of bee thefts in North Wales; Vice Chairman of the PBKA, Paul Eades, was asked by the BBC to give an interview about the problem.
