Volunteers needed!

We are forging ahead with the new apiary thanks to all the effort put in by our members, and the next phase is to erect the new hive stands on-site prior to our bringing the hives in.

We are going to be using 4 inch blocks to build the stands and need a few volunteers to assist us on Sunday 3rd April at 1pm.

So if you think you could be available and perhaps have a wheel barrow, together with a pair of sturdy gloves (maybe even a level!), please email us at pbkaapiarymanager@live.co.uk

Many thanks.

Urgent – Large van required!

We still require a volunteer with a large van to help clear the apiary shed on Saturday.

If you can assist, please contact us at pbkaapiarymanager@live.co.uk asap.

Many thanks

Rake-a-thon success!

Many thanks to all of you who came along to help today at the new training apiary to get the ground levelled, together with those hardy souls who paced up and down with plate wackers!! Their teeth must still be rattling! An excellent job done under the expert eye of Linda, our Project Manager!  It was great seeing old friends and some new faces too!

The hard work was rewarded by a nice hot beverage and a slice of Lesley and Aish’s excellent cakes! It can’t get much better!

Keep an eye on this page for further progress reports and other updates.
