Potential starvation risk!

Just to remind beekeepers everywhere to check their bees for stores, as we are coming into a high risk time for starvation, as the queen gets into gear and the remaining winter stores are used up. So give your hives a heft and if needed, give them some fondant or candy (not liquid feed!).

International Meeting of Young Beekeepers (IMYB) in Slovenia

The Welsh Beekeepers Association are looking for young beekeepers aged between 12 & 17 years to represent Wales in this years International Meeting of Young Beekeepers (IMYB) being held in Slovenia.
This is a great event that will be funded by the Welsh Beekeepers Association.
If you are aware of any young beekeepers in Wales who may be interested, please ask them to contact imyb@wbka.com for further info.

Would all PBKA members please note that the Annual General Meeting this year will be held on Wednesday 22nd January, at Haverfordwest Cricket Club, to commence promptly at 7.30pm.

The Agenda and Minutes of the previous meeting are to follow, plus the 2020 membership form.
