PBKA members please note that the final apiary meeting for the 2013 season will be held in the Honey Kitchen at Scolton Manor on Sunday 15th September at 2pm.
The weather forecast is looking poor for Sunday, so we will probably be inside and reflecting on the 2013 season. What went well – what didn’t, the lessons we have learned and what you would like to see the association do for you and beekeeping in Pembrokeshire in the future!
We look forward to seeing you then!
Paul Eades
Apiary Manager
Welsh Government recently issued the Draft Action Plan for Pollinators for Wales as a consultation document.
The PBKA has put together a response, which it has sent on behalf of the association and the document is attached for information (see the link at the top of the page).
Will be going ahead at alternative venue – see previous post for details.
We will be demonstrating hive and frame assembly, hive scorching, for used equipment. Experienced beekeepers will be on hand for beginners to get to know over a cup of tea. And lots more.
See you there.
