Working Party / Gweithgor

We had another highly successful working party on Sunday, installing the hive stands ready for the bees at our new Woodland Apiary at Scolton Manor.

Many thanks once again to all of you who turned up to help and we also enjoyed our post-installation meeting at the tea shop, with some of Lesley’s delicious flap jacks!

We hope to get the bees installed after the Easter break and we will let you know when the practical training sessions are commencing.

Volunteers needed!

We are forging ahead with the new apiary thanks to all the effort put in by our members, and the next phase is to erect the new hive stands on-site prior to our bringing the hives in.

We are going to be using 4 inch blocks to build the stands and need a few volunteers to assist us on Sunday 3rd April at 1pm.

So if you think you could be available and perhaps have a wheel barrow, together with a pair of sturdy gloves (maybe even a level!), please email us at pbkaapiarymanager@live.co.uk

Many thanks.
