Volunteers needed!

apiarymanager Events, PBKA, PBKA Apiary, Scolton Beekeeping Centre

We are forging ahead with the new apiary thanks to all the effort put in by our members, and the next phase is to erect the new hive stands on-site prior to our bringing the hives in.

We are going to be using 4 inch blocks to build the stands and need a few volunteers to assist us on Sunday 3rd April at 1pm.

So if you think you could be available and perhaps have a wheel barrow, together with a pair of sturdy gloves (maybe even a level!), please email us at pbkaapiarymanager@live.co.uk

WBKA Beekeeping ‘Spring Convention’ Saturday 26th March 2022

Just to remind PBKA members that the WBKA Spring Convention is on Saturday 26th March 2022 at the Old Food Hall, Royal Welsh Agricultural Show Ground, Builth Wells, Powys, LD2 3SY

Opening at 8.00am

Advance bookings at £7.00 per head

Entry on the day, £9.00 per head, accompanied young people under 16, no charge.

Following the latest guidance, the WBKA ask that all delegates take a lateral flow test before attending and to wear a mask when visiting the Trade Hall.

N.B. If you are going to attend, the PBKA would be most grateful if someone could pick up a few boxes of training booklets from the WBKA. If you can, please contact Paul Eades at pbkaapiarymanager@live.co.uk asap so we can order them. Many thanks!
