Many thanks to the lovely folk who joined us for a beekeeping Taster Session this afternoon and showed such enthusiasm.
The conditions were perfect and the questions came thick and fast!

We had an excellent first training session of the season this afternoon, with a mixed turnout of beginners and improvers!
Plenty to look at and lots of questions for the trainers. Many thanks to all who came along, with a special ‘Thank You‘ to the training team who did a magnificent job as always!

Fire Risks!
Hi fellow beekeepers
I am watching the Preseli mountain burn away and thought this a good time to suggest you take extra care when lighting your smoker or putting it down.
It is too easy to start an accidental fire while everywhere is so dry. I take a stainless steel bucket with me and put the smoker inside that, I am also fortunate that my apiary has plentiful water nearby.
