Been thinking about keeping bees? Want to find out more?
This One-Day course will help you decide if beekeeping is for you and answer the questions you have about this fascinating craft. The course is classroom based in the centre of Haverfordwest and no previous knowledge or equipment is needed to attend it. 
No bees will be present at the course! Click here to find out more about the course and to reserve a place.
Following this course we suggest that you come to practical meetings for beginners at the Association’s Apiary and put what you will have learned into practice under the guidance of experienced beekeepers.
AGM 2013 and Membership Reminder
A reminder to Members that the Association’s AGM is being held on Thursday 17th January at Haverfordwest Cricket Club starting at 7.30 pm.
Following the business of the AGM John Dudman is giving us a talk on the ‘Honeybee Colony in Winter’

Environment Wales presentation to the PBKA
The PBKA’s new Pembrokeshire Beekeeping Centre at Scolton Manor was recently among the projects showcased at Environment Wales’ prestigious 20th anniversary event. A total of 20 projects were chosen as the initiative celebrates its 20th year of providing grants and developmental support to voluntary organisations within Wales. The projects were selected as they exemplify one of the four core objectives of Environment Wales and each received a presentation of a green glass oak leaf from Alan Underwood, Chair of the Environment Wales grants advisory panel, who has been involved with the initiative since its inception in 1992.
