Enjoyable Taster Session
Many thanks to all those who attended the Beekeeping Taster Session today at our Scolton Manor apiary.
It was a pleasure meeting you all and for showing so much interest in our craft. ‘Her Majesty’ even came to say hello!🐝

Very successful skep making course!
A fascinating skep making course was held this Saturday at Scolton Manor for PBKA members.
The participants were trained by Tina, a very talented local skep maker, who explained and demonstrated the process before putting them to work!
The course lasted the whole day and by the end of it the skeps were well on their way!
Following the success of this course, we hope to repeat it later in the year.
Many thanks to Tina for providing the training with her expertise and enthusiasm in an ancient craft, which the PBKA is delighted to support and encourage!🐝

An excellent first meeting was held this afternoon at the training apiary. Lots of new faces and plenty of the regulars made it a lively and interesting session.
The next meeting is on Sunday 5th May and we hope to see you all again then!🐝

The PBKA is holding a skep making course on Saturday 27th April in the Green Barn at Scolton, for PBKA members only. We only have a few spaces available however on a strictly first come first served basis, so if you are interested, please let me know asap.
If we can’t fit you onto this course, we hope to run another at a later date if there are enough interested people. The cost is being subsidised by the PBKA and will only cost members £30.00 for the day, to include all materials, and refreshments (please bring your own lunch).
