Hi All,
A last minute place has become available for the skep making course tomorrow, Sunday 6th October, in the Green Barn at Scolton, now at a reduced cost!
If you are interested and a PBKA member, please let me know asap.
The cost is normally £60.00, but is being subsidised by the PBKA and will only cost members £30.00 for the day, to include all materials, and refreshments (tea and coffee), but please bring your own lunch!
Strictly first come first served, so to book a place, please contact pbkaapiarymanager@live.co.uk asap
Please note that PBKA membership renewals, are now available and will be valid until 31st December 2025.
New PBKA memberships for 2025, will be available from 1st January 2025.
Note that all memberships will now be for a ‘Single Paid Person’ only and previously available categories such as ‘Partner’, previously attached to some full PBKA members, will no longer be available. This has been made necessary, due to changes in the WBKA insurance arrangements.

Butterfly Conservation slams “obsession with tidiness” in British gardens and green spaces that is “just really bad for nature”, after the public counted record low butterfly numbers this summer. But that’s not the only reason the insects are declining, it said.
See here for details!
Please be advised that due to the forecasted inclement weather, today’s (Sunday 22nd September) Apiary Meeting has been cancelled.
